Tropolite Foods Pvt Ltd has announced the bifurcation of its bakery segment into two—bakery ingredients and bakery toppings. “We are excited about expanding our presence across the nation to serve the needs of our customers better,” said Abhishek Ahlawat, AVP – Marketing & Strategy. The bakery ingredients would cover all the premixes starting from cake premixes (vanilla and chocolate) egg-free cake premixes, brownie premixes, muffin premixes, to choco lava premix and mawa delight mix and various glazes and fillings.
The bakery toppings segment will cover all nondairy toppings such as ecotrop, tropolite, temptation, crystal, truflite, bestrop and supertrop. Tropilite Foods Pvt Ltd, a reputed name in the food processing industry, was established in 1982 by the Davars Group. The research & development division of Tropilite is recognised by the Department of Science and Industrial Research (DSIR) under the Ministry of Science and Technology. The company has in-house R&D laboratories for the development and standardisation of food, pharmaceutical and industrial grade additives. All the products developed are approved by CSIR before actual production release for use by the industry.
