
Lite Bite Foods has acquired Italian restaurant Scalini, a regular haunt for footballers and other celebrities. Lite Bite Foods plans to open Scalini outlets in India, Moscow and Dubai over the next one year. Founded by Mario and Valerio, Scalini is a two-decade old iconic restaurant in London. The venture owns fine-dining restaurant Punjab Grill and quick service chain Street Foods. Lite Bite Foods made overseas foray by opening Punjab Grill in Singapore two years ago. It operates franchisee formats Subway, Pollo Campero and Pino’s Pasta Pizza, own brands Zambar and Asia 7, quick-service chains Rapps, Big Gulp and Bakers Street, besides Punjab Grill and Street Foods.
